Inc. Magazine Names 2 Hounds Design to Inc. 5000

Monroe, N.C.-based 2 Hounds Design, a manufacturer of collars, leashes and harnesses, including Freedom No Pull Harnesses, announced that Inc. magazine ranked its business among the most growth-oriented private companies in the U.S., rated No. 3406 overall on Inc.’s 35th annual Inc. 5000 with three-year sales growth of 96 percent, the company stated.
All of 2 Hounds Design’s products are made in the USA, and the company manufactures the Freedom Harness in eight sizes and 19 colors, and its fashion collars in hundreds of designs.
“We are proud to be among the fastest growing companies in the country, just for doing what we love—which is helping humans and dogs enjoy their walks again,” said Alisha Navarro, president.
The Inc. 500|5000 is an exclusive ranking of the nation’s fastest-growing private companies. The list represents a comprehensive look at America’s independent entrepreneurs and has provided early exposure for many well-known companies such as Yelp, Pandora, LinkedIn and Zillow.
Started in 1982, this list features the nation's most successful private companies, according to Inc. The 2016 Inc. 5000 is the most competitive crop in the list’s history, the company stated, with an aggregate revenue of more than $200 billion and the list collectively generated 640,000 jobs—about 8 percent of the jobs created in the entire economy over the past three years.
